When Amaal came forward to apologize, Nehal’s words were always, ‘It’s not about you.’ The reaction was never about him, but about old painful echoes that resurfaced.”
The team further highlighted that Nehal has previously spoken about surviving assault and continues to stand up for herself. They called her breakdown “a weak moment but also a human moment,” reminding people that trauma often resurfaces unexpectedly.
Ending the statement, they appealed to viewers to show compassion instead of trolling: “Nehal will continue to be a woman of courage. Her journey is not defined by moments of weakness but by the strength with which she continues to heal.”
