While there are many others who are upset with the low-key Diwali celebrations this year due to Covid-19, actor Arjun Bijlani has decided to look at his in a positive way.
The Ishq Mein Marjawan actor says that while they cannot go out or invite many people at home, he and his family will make the most of the festival.
โThis year we will have a cozy family Diwali celebration. We have a pet dog so we donโt get crackers at home. We will do Laxmi puja at home, light Diyas and make a colorful Rangoli,โ says Arjun.
In fact, the actor urges his fans to also not move around much this Diwali.
He says, โEveryone should have a low-key Diwali with family only this year. We need to realize that just because everything is open now does not mean that we are out of Covid-19. In fact, the opposite is true. The chance of getting infected with Covid-19 is really high because people are moving out so much. We need to make sure that we keep our families safe. Itโs important to maintain social distancing! This is the only way we can ensure that we will not be infected. Please try not to rush to sweet shops or other areas where we know there will be a lot of crowd.”
In fact, he is making sure to take precautions this festive season. โI understand that people are fed up now but it is important to make sure to protect ourselves so I make sure to wear my mask whenever I am out. I make sure to keep a sanitizer with me and spray on every surface well before I touch it. These small things can go a long way, I feel.โ signs off Arjun.
