Popular television actor Ankit Gupta has backed out of Terre Ho Jaayein Hum, the upcoming project by Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s YouTube channel, Dreamiyata Dramaa. His exit has sparked further speculations about his rumored breakup with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, after the two unfollowed each other on Instagram.
PriyAnkit fans were eagerly waiting to see the duo share the screen again after Udaariyaan and Bigg Boss 16. However, Ankit recently confirmed that he has stepped away from the project. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, the actor said, “Yes, I backed out of the project with Ravie-Sargun. I don’t think I would be able to commit to that project right now. Maybe I need some time for myself to rejuvenate and recharge.”
Ankit also revealed that he will not be participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi this year, as he wants to take a break and focus on himself. His decision has left fans disappointed, as many were excited to see him and Priyanka share the screen again in a romantic drama.
The two were rumored to be dating, though they always maintained that they were just good friends. While neither of them has addressed the breakup rumors, Ankit’s decision to step back from the show has only fueled speculations further.
