Shafaq, who was last seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, had been one of the names strongly linked to this season. However, she released a video on Instagram clearing the air. In the clip, she said she is not doing Bigg Boss this year and expressed her surprise over reports claiming she had quit the show due to family emergencies or health issues. The actress firmly denied these rumors, saying she is absolutely fine, healthy, working, and living her regular life. She added that people should at least reach out and ask her directly before spreading such false stories.
Along with the video, Shafaq wrote a caption that read, “To whom it may concern: No crisis, no emergencies, no health drama. I’m perfectly fine. For further clarification, feel free to contact me directly.”
Her post quickly grabbed attention, with fans flooding the comment section. Some expressed relief that she clarified the matter, while others admitted disappointment that she won’t be seen inside the Bigg Boss house. One fan wrote, “Glad you clarified, it was much needed,” while another commented, “I was so happy to hear those rumors about you coming in Bigg Boss, ab toh dil hi tut gaya.”
With this clarification, Shafaq Naaz joins the list of celebrities who have denied participating in Bigg Boss 19. The mystery around the final lineup still remains, and fans are eagerly waiting for the official announcement from the makers.
