Veteran Actor-Producer Dheeraj Kumar Passes Away At 79

Veteran actor and producer Dheeraj Kumar passed away earlier today (July 15) at the age of 79. As per reports, he was battling pneumonia and was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.

Reports say Dheeraj Kumar was admitted earlier this week after facing severe breathing issues. He was kept on ventilator support in the ICU but could not survive.

Dheeraj Kumar began his acting career in 1970 with the film Deedar. Over the years, he acted in several Bollywood and Punjabi movies, including Sargam (1979), Roti Kapada Aur Makaan (1974), and many others. He was known for his powerful roles and charming on-screen presence.

In 1986, Dheeraj Kumar turned producer and started his own television production house called Creative Eye Limited. Under his banner, he produced some of Indian television’s most popular daily soaps like Maayka, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann, Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam, and many more.

His sudden demise has left the film and TV industry in shock. Many celebrities and fans are mourning his loss and remembering his valuable contribution to Indian cinema and television.

Dheeraj Kumar’s work as an actor and producer will always be remembered. His shows and films entertained millions of people across the country.
