Actor and cinematographer Ankoor Venchurkar, known for his recent role in Maharani Season 3, has taken a significant step towards environmental and social welfare by founding an NGO with his friends. The organization, named VAST Helping Hand Cultural and Welfare Society, is based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
On World Nature Conservation Day, July 28th, VAST Helping Hand made an impactful start by planting over 100 trees in 5 Number Park and Atal Path. The initiative didn’t stop there. In the evening, they organized a street play with children, which was trained by Vaibhav Dev Neerad, the main head of the NGO. The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation.
The core members of VAST Helping Hand include Vaibhav Dev Neerad, Ankoor Venchurkar, Tina Rao, Mayank Baghel, Rajesh Narwariya, Sanju Chourasia, and Anita Singh. Their collective goal is to promote a plastic-free, clean earth, conserve water, and support street animals, elderly people, and underprivileged and special needs children.
In a conversation with us, Ankoor Venchurkar shared his vision: “We as an NGO want to send a message to everyone, especially the youth, about the responsibility to save the earth. We need to plant trees, save water, and help each other.”
“The youth is the future. We will be glad if people join our NGO, share their views and ideas, and help improve society. By cleaning our homes, areas, and cities, we will make the world a cleaner and safer place,” he added.
The NGO invites everyone to join their mission and contribute to a better future.
