Naagin 7 aired its final episode on June 14, bringing the popular supernatural drama to an emotional close. Soon after the finale, lead actor Namik Paul took to Instagram and shared a touching appreciation post for his co-star Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who played the titular Naagin.
Sharing a few pictures with Priyanka, Namik looked back at the day they first introduced the show. He recalled how both of them felt nervous before going on stage for live performances that included several dance routines despite having very little time to practice.
Namik revealed that Priyanka turned to him just before the performance and asked, “Kaise karenge?” Since he had no answer, he simply laughed and shrugged. Priyanka, however, confidently said, “Kar hi lenge,” and according to Namik, that positive attitude stayed with her throughout their time on the show.
In his note, Namik praised Priyanka for always bringing confidence, positivity and laughter to the set. He said she never took the show lightly and always gave her best. He also thanked her for being a wonderful scene partner and someone he could talk to whenever he needed. From her professionalism to her dedication to fitness, Namik shared several memories that made their journey special.
He ended the post by thanking Priyanka for the experience and jokingly promised to buy her matcha the next time they meet.
Priyanka responded with an equally sweet comment. She said Namik’s post made her smile, laugh and feel emotional all at once. The actress thanked him for being not only a great actor but also a wonderful person.
She also mentioned the thoughtful things Namik did for her on set, from making sure her oat milk matcha was available to offering her his seat and greeting her with a smile. Priyanka said those little gestures meant a lot to her.
