Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Rohit Purohit and his wife, actress Sheena Bajaj, have become proud parents. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on 15th September 2025.
The happy news was announced on social media through a collaborative post. Sharing the excitement, the couple dropped a simple yet beautiful note: “It’s a boy 👦 #Blessed 🙏🏻”.

Rohit and Sheena’s love story goes back many years. After dating for around six years, the couple tied the knot on 22 January 2019 in Jaipur. Their relationship has always been admired by fans for the love and support they share for each other.
Sheena had earlier opened up about her pregnancy journey, calling it a challenging yet rewarding phase. She revealed that her Polycystic Ovary Disorder (PCOD) made conceiving difficult and complicated her pregnancy. During the first few months, she suffered from severe nausea and fatigue which left her bedridden. She also had to go through multiple medical procedures and injections.
Through it all, Sheena often shared her journey on social media and expressed gratitude to Rohit for being her constant support. Despite his hectic shooting schedules, the actor stood by her side and ensured she felt cared for during the tough times.
On the professional front, Rohit Purohit is currently winning hearts with his role as Armaan in the long-running TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Sheena Bajaj, on the other hand, was last seen in Vanshaj.
