TV actor Pearl V Puri has been arrested by the Mumbai Police on charges of raping a minor.
The ‘Naagin 3’ actor was arrested on Friday, June 4 in Vasai. Pearl has been arrested along with five others. The case is registered under section 376 of IPC and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.
As per the reports, its an old case for which Pearl has been arrested along with five others after the minor and her parents filed a complaint in the police station against them.
Pearl made his debut with TV show Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat in 2013 and went on to bag the lead role in Phir Bhi Na Maane… Badtameez Dil in 2015 alongside Asmita Sood.
Pearl’s Naagin 3 costar Anita Hassanandani has come out in support of the actor. Posting a selfie with Pearl on Instagram, she captioned the picture that she knows him (Pearl) and this news can’t be true… all lies. She further mentioned that she is sure that there is more to it and the truth will be out soon.
Anita has also used a hashtag #IStandwithPearl in her post.
