Actress Sana Makbul, who won hearts with her game in Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, marked the first anniversary of her victory with an emotional post on social media. On August 2, 2024, she had lifted the trophy of the popular reality show, and exactly a year later, she looked back on the journey that changed her life.
Sana shared an Instagram reel featuring clips from her photo shoot, accompanied by touching in-reel text:
“Winning Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 wasn’t just a title – it was the beginning of a journey I will forever cherish. This past year has been nothing short of magical, intense, eye-opening and deeply humbling.
I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you – those who stood by me, believed in me, supported me, prayed for me, even those who quietly observed from afar or parted ways along the journey. Every presence, every absence, every moment has shaped me.
Life truly came full circle – health, wealth, love, lessons – it all danced together in perfect chaos… through it all, I’ve only grown stronger, softer, wiser, and more grateful.
Here’s to gratitude, growth, grace, and the magic of transformation. Thank you, from the deepest part of my heart.”
She captioned the reel: “One year ago, on this date, My Life changed 🫶🏼😇”
Fans flooded the comments, calling her the most deserving winner of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3.
While celebrating her big win, Sana also recently opened up about a serious health issue. In a conversation with ETimes, she revealed that she was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis in 2020, which later developed into liver cirrhosis — a condition that is irreversible.
She shared that the symptoms began with back acne, and after several tests, the diagnosis was confirmed. “Cirrhosis is irreversible. My family and I were shaken. But I’ve left it to God,” she said.
Despite her condition, Sana participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and later Bigg Boss OTT 3. She said the production teams were supportive and knew about her health. “Some days are tough, some are okay. But I wanted to live normally,” she added.
Though her health has caused a pause in her career, Sana remains hopeful: “My dream is to live a healthy life and keep working.”
