After making their mark in daily soaps, television actors Roshni Sahota and Kuldeep Singh have taken a big step in their careers by starting their own production house – Pravah Entertainment.
Under this banner, the duo has already been producing fiction series for digital platforms. Now, they are also featuring as lead actors in their latest original series, titled Sapna Pyaar Aur Takrar, which will stream soon on Viralo App.
Kuldeep Singh is playing Sameer, a young man who dreams of becoming an IAS officer, while Roshni Sahota is seen as Arushi, a woman who wishes for a happy and settled married life. Their contrasting aspirations form the crux of the story. The plot is loosely inspired by RajKummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda’s film Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, but with an interesting twist added to engage the digital audience.
Interestingly, Sapna Pyaar Aur Takrar is directed by Pankaj Kumar, who earlier directed Roshni in her popular show Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. This reunion has brought back fond memories for the actress. Roshni shared, “Yes, it was amazing working with Pankaj sir again after so long. He still calls me Surbhi, my character’s name from Shakti. Now he feels like my in-house director for all my projects.”
Talking about acting under his own production, Kuldeep Singh expressed, “It was amazing working with Roshni again on the floor as an actor. Balancing the role of a producer and actor at the same time is challenging, but I have a complete production team now, so I don’t have to look into everything. Still, sometimes I think as a producer while acting to maintain balance. Thankfully, Roshni supports me equally in this journey.”
