Popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia has spoken out amid the growing controversy over his remarks on fellow YouTuber Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. The backlash began after Ranveer asked an inappropriate question to a contestant, leading to public outrage and multiple FIRs against him.
As per reports, when the police attempted to reach Ranveer for interrogation, his phone was switched off, and his residence was locked. However, breaking his silence, Ranveer released a statement clarifying that he is not running away and is fully cooperating with the authorities. Ranveer also revealed that he has been receiving death threats and that unknown individuals have invaded his mother’s clinic by pretending to be patients. He expressed fear for his and his family’s safety but reiterated his faith in the police and the judicial system.
Earlier, Ranveer had released a video apologizing for his remarks, but the controversy did not subside. With multiple FIRs filed against him, he has now approached the Supreme Court, requesting to club all the cases against him.
