TV actors Mugdha Chaphekar and Ravish Desai, who first met on the sets of Satrangi Sasural in 2014, have officially parted ways. The couple fell in love during the show, got engaged in 2016, and tied the knot in December the same year.
On Saturday, April 5, Ravish took to Instagram to share a note announcing their separation. He revealed that they had taken the decision after much thought and have been living separately for over a year now. He also requested fans, media, and well-wishers to respect their privacy and not believe in any false stories.
“After much contemplation and thought Mugdha and I decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. Its been more than a year now. We have had a beautiful journey together that of love, friendship and respect and that would continue all our lives. We request our beloved fans, well wishers, and the media to be kind and supportive and give us the privacy we need to heal. Kindly do not believe in any false stories and statements. Thank you for your love and support,” he wrote in his post.

Professionally, Mugdha Chaphekar is known for her popular roles in shows like Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, Dharam Veer, and Kumkum Bhagya. Ravish Desai has appeared in shows like Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi…Meri Bhabhi and Satrangi Sasural. He has also worked in films and commercials.
