Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who played Roshan Sodhi, has strongly reacted to actor Nirmal Soni (Dr. Hathi) after he denied her allegations against producer Asit Modi.
Recently, in an interview given to Sonal Kaushal, Nirmal Soni said that controversies come and go, and people say things in their own way. Without taking Jennifer’s name directly, he mentioned that an actress who left the show has made big allegations on the producer, but he feels nothing like that ever happened. He further added that one cannot believe anything unless both sides are heard.
Jennifer was quick to respond and slammed Nirmal Soni on Instagram. Sharing his interview video, she wrote: “Was Nirmal Soni aka Hathi present in the Singapore shoot of TMKOC in 2019 that he said all these things? Who is he to make this statement that this didn’t happen, when he has no idea about what happened. At least request him to keep his mouth shut… He was absent in TMKOC for almost a decade, how can he know what all happened during that time?? Also aadmiyon ke saath yeh sab nahi hota (this doesn’t happen with men), so how will he know!! I am literally raging by his statement.”
For those unaware, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal had earlier accused TMKOC producer Asit Modi of sexual harassment. She claimed that during a Singapore shoot in 2019, Asit had made uncomfortable advances towards her, including suggesting they drink whiskey in his hotel room and even commenting on her lips. Jennifer later filed a case against him. Asit has denied all allegations, calling them false.
