Actress Dolly Sohi, 48, lost her battle with cervical cancer this morning. Confirming the devastating news, her family expressed shock and grief, revealing that the final rites will be conducted this afternoon.
Confirming the news, Dolly’s family told Etimes, “Our beloved Dolly has left for her heavenly abode today early morning. We are in a state of shock with the loss. The final rites shall be conducted today afternoon.”
The tragedy deepens as it comes just a night after Dolly’s sister, actress Amandeep Sohi, passed away due to jaundice.
Dolly’s brother further told the publication, “Yes, it is true Amandeep is no more. Her body gave up. She had jaundice but we are not in the state to ask the doctor details.”
Dolly, who recently played the role of Srishti in the daily soap ‘Jhanak,’ had recently quit the show due to health complications. She was admitted to the hospital recently after experiencing breathing issues.

The actress, survived by her teenage daughter, Amelia, was previously married to NRI Avneet Dhanowa but later divorced due to compatibility issues.
