Renowned casting director Sanjay Shukla is set to make his debut as a producer with the upcoming web series ‘Buddhu Bewkoof Bekaar.’ Known for his work as a Casting Director on TV shows like ‘Meri Durga’, ‘Alladin Naam Toh Suna Hoga’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya,’ as well as episodic shows, Sanjay is now venturing into production.
Previously reported by ItsEZone.com, Sanjay had taken his first steps into production with a music video. Now, he is expanding his portfolio with his first web series. “‘Buddhu Bewkoof Bekaar’ will be directed by TVF’s Anjit Bhatnagar and co-produced by Vir Kapur.
The series is a comedy-drama that revolves around the lives of college friends, exploring themes of love and friendship. The cast includes popular names such as Vikram Kocchar, Hiten Tejwani, Gandharva Mishra, Nidhi Mishra, and Diwanshu Gambhir, who will play key roles in the series.
Despite having extensive experience as a Casting Director for TV shows, web series, and films, Sanjay acknowledges the challenges of transitioning to a producer role. He shared, “From casting director to producer, the journey has been very difficult for me, but I did it.”
The streaming platform for ‘Buddhu Bewkoof Bekaar’ is yet to be decided. Fans eagerly await the release of this comedy-drama that promises to deliver laughter and heartfelt moments.
