Alisha Parveen Denies Saying Rupali Ganguly Caused Her Exit

Television actress Alisha Parveen, who played the role of Raahi in the popular show Anupamaa, was recently replaced, leaving fans shocked.

While the actress expressed being clueless about the reason behind her termination, a source revealed to a leading publication that her on-screen performance, particularly in emotional scenes, did not meet the show’s expectations.

However, speculation surrounding her exit continued to make headlines. One rumor pointed fingers at Rupali Ganguly, the lead actress of Anupamaa, suggesting that she might have been involved in Alisha’s termination due to insecurity over her character. Recently, an Instagram page alleged that Alisha had accused Rupali in an interview of being the reason behind her exit.

Alisha, however, was quick to shut down these rumors. Taking to her Instagram story, she clarified, “Please stop spreading fake news. I never said this! I respect her. First, find out the truth, then write anything.”
