Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’s release date has been postponed yet again for the third time.
The film will now release in theatres on July 28th this year. Earlier it was scheduled to be release on 28th April in 2023. Today, filmmaker Karan Johar and the cast of the film took to social media to announce the new release date of the film.
Sharing the poster of the film, Karan captioned the announcement post – ‘They say โsabr ka phal meetha hota haiโ, so to increase the mithaas of this incredibly special story – we’re coming with a whole lot of love! Rocky aur Rani ke parivaar ho rahe hai taiyyaar, aur ab dekhiye yeh anokhi kahani of pyaar!๐ฟโค๏ธ

Karan is making a comeback to direction after a long gap of seven years. His last directorial film was Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Coming to the film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, the film was initially scheduled to hit the screens in February 2023 but later it was pushed to April due to Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy because the team had to postpone a song shoot.
Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra will also be seen playing important roles in the movie. TV actors Arjun Bijlani, Shraddha Arya, Sriti Jha and Arjit Taneja have also been roped in for special appearances in the upcoming film.ย
