Lock Upp 2 continues to spark conversations with its emotional twists and controversial moments. After contestant Akanksha Chamola’s sexuality became a major talking point on the reality show, Bigg Boss 19 fame Nehal Chudasama has come out in her support.
Nehal took to her X (formerly Twitter) account and reacted to the latest Lock Upp 2 episode. She criticized contestant Shreya Kalra for revealing Akanksha’s personal secret without her consent and praised Akanksha for owning her truth with courage.
In her post, Nehal wrote, “Sexuality is still such a sensitive and personal journey, especially in Indian society. Everyone deserves the space, respect and freedom to share their truth at their own pace—when, how and if they choose to.”
She further said that nobody should take away such an important moment from someone by revealing deeply personal information on their behalf. However, she also acknowledged that Lock Upp 2 is a reality game show where every contestant plays differently.
Nehal added, “But it’s a game & all characters are not the same. Feel sad that Akanksha had to experience that, but also so proud of how she owns every part of who she is with strength and Pride.” She ended her post with a heart and rainbow emoji.

It’s deeply unfair to take that moment away from someone or casually…
The controversy began during the latest episode of Lock Upp 2 when Akanksha learned that Shreya Kalra had overheard her backstage conversation and later shared her sexuality truth with fellow contestant Sufi Motiwala. The revelation cost Akanksha a lifeline and left her emotional.
Following the incident, Akanksha openly admitted that she was bisexual before marriage and had relationships with a few women. She also shared that she has always admired feminine energy and feels emotionally connected to women. The actress broke down in tears and admitted that she has felt the most exposed since the first day of the show. She even questioned whether joining Lock Upp 2 had been the right decision.
